Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment. We’ll walk you through a brief orientation, so you’re fully comfortable before stepping into the float pod. Take a moment to unwind, ask questions, and let us handle the rest.
Avoid shaving or waxing the day of your float to prevent any skin irritation from the salt water. Trust us, your skin will thank you, and you'll enjoy a much more comfortable float.
You can eat a light meal about an hour before your session, but avoid large meals. You’ll want to feel relaxed and comfortable, without being too full or too hungry.
Make sure to drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your float. This will help enhance the detoxifying effects of the Epsom salts.
You’ll float in complete privacy in your own room, so most people prefer to float in the nude. If you’re more comfortable in a swimsuit, feel free to bring one, but it’s all about your comfort level.
A quick rinse in our provided showers will help remove any oils or lotions that could affect the water’s quality. Plus, it helps start the relaxation process.

Float therapy, or R.E.S.T. (Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy), involves floating in a sensory deprivation tank filled with Epsom salt water, allowing you to experience weightlessness and deep relaxation. The tank blocks external light, sound, and touch, creating a calming environment for both mind and body.
No special preparation is required. However, avoid caffeine and large meals before your session, as they can make it harder to relax. It’s also best to avoid shaving or waxing, as the Epsom salts may irritate sensitive skin.
Most people find the tank spacious and don’t experience claustrophobia. However, you can leave the tank door slightly open or use ambient light to feel more comfortable. You’re always in control of your experience.
Absolutely! The high salt content makes the water so buoyant that you’ll float effortlessly. No swimming skills are required, and there’s no risk of sinking.
Yes, hygiene is our top priority. The water is filtered multiple times between each session and treated with a combination of UV light, O-Zone, and safe, non-irritating sanitizers to ensure it remains clean and safe for every guest. We follow the latest Ontario Public Health Guidelines.
Our standard float sessions last 60 minutes, but we also offer 90-120-minute sessions for those looking for a deeper experience. If you’re new to floating, starting with 60 minutes is usually best.
Yes! Floating is a wonderful way to relieve the strain and discomfort of pregnancy. However, if you're in your third trimester or have any concerns, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before your float.
Just yourself! We provide everything you need, including towels, earplugs, and toiletries. You’re welcome to bring a swimsuit, but most people prefer to float nude to get the full sensory deprivation experience.
We offer tandem float sessions for two people in our larger tanks. It’s a great way to share the relaxation experience while still enjoying the benefits of floating.
